We don’t care whether artists stick to their present creative language. But we do prefer those who will push hard into the unknown.

Artists Jen Merrill and Jefferson Eisenberg co-founded TGTG in 2018 to add to and participate in the Sac art scene, and to create a new space for artists and the public to engage with experimental projects grounded in a contemporary art framework. They invite artists to work through unwieldy, impractical, and unsaleable ideas, and to push themselves in a supportive environment with the benefit of curatorial and installation expertise, but with few limitations. Jen and Jefferson truly enjoy artists and embrace the creative process with all its challenges, messiness, and catharsis. 

Submissions

TLDR; This is definitely the place to (figuratively) blow it up and propose one of your ‘impossible’ ideas. If you don’t know how to make it work, we’ll help you figure out where impossible meets reality and support you and your creative process right on through to the opening party. We welcome proposals of any scale, scope, or medium based in a contemporary art framework, but we do value our time and yours, so don’t send us a ton of shit. We prefer a simple introduction.
